Illusory Veil

Click and drag cursor to create a wall that will block enemy movement, but not allies. The wall lasts 3 seconds. Enemies who come near the wall take 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 Magic Damage per second.

Synergy

Passively grants a health regeneration aura to all allied heroes on the map. The aura heals for 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 Health per second plus an additional 0.05 / 0.1 / 0.15 / 0.2% of Max Health per second.

As One

Target an allied hero to go inside them for up to 30 seconds. While inside, Empath is invulnerable and her host receives 40 / 60 / 80 Attack Speed and Attack Damage.

For the duration, grants an additional skill that allows you to apply a burst of speed to your host.

Staff of the Master decreases cooldown time to 30 seconds and grants your host Staff of the Master's effects while active.

INTRODUCTION

This is a guide specifically for the Mid Wars game-mode. The items listed/suggested are all decent items for Empath to have imo, and are all situational depending on the line-ups.

STARTING

Absorb power from enemy spellcasts. Discharge to gain a bit of Health and Mana.

Activate to heal nearby allies.

Merrick's Bounty

Generates extra gold when not killing creeps

Kuldra's Sheepstick

50 Intelligence
Cast to temporarily transfigure an enemy, disabling them.

Power Supply

Allows the wielder to absorb Health and Mana from enemy spellcasts.

Tablet of Command

Cast on a player-controlled unit to push it in the direction it's facing. Interrupts channeling.

Movement Modifier
50 Movement Speed. Additional non-combat speed and regen.

OFFENSIVE

Harkon's Blade

When active, transforms your attacks into Magic Damage.

Codex

Cast to deal massive Magic Damage to a target.
Can be upgraded 4 times.

Hellflower

Cast to Silence & increase Damage Dealt against an enemy for 5 seconds.

Puzzlebox

Use to summon two minions. Melee minion Reveals stealth.
Can be upgraded 2 times.

Barrier Idol

Magic Armor Modifier
Cast to shield allies in a magic-absorbing barrier.

Icon of the Goddess

Grants bonus HP regen & mana regen per enemy hero death near you.

Stormspirit

Cast to envelop the target hero in an invulnerable cyclone for 2 seconds.

Staff of the Master

Boosts the abilities of many heroes. Check your ability tooltips for compatibility.

Abyssal Skull

Grants allied melee units a lifesteal aura.

Magic Armor Modifier
Grants a mana regen and healing aura.

Genjuro

Use to grant stealth. Holds 2 charges. Attacking out of stealth grants bonus damage and slow.
